Rapidly identify and differentiate Staphylococcus aureus with Thermo Scientific™ Staphytect Plus™ Latex Agglutination Test. Staphytect Plus detects clumping factor, Protein A, and certain capsular polysaccharides found in methicillin-resistant S.s aureus (MRSA) to differentiate S.s aureus from those staphylococci that do not possess these properties. Staphytect Plus Latex Agglutination Test uses blue latex particles coated with porcine fibrinogen and rabbit IgG for detection of clumping factor, protein A and capsular polysaccharides of S. aureus.
